テーマは「Spirit」

私にとってそれは、海を越え山を越え、この惑星を超え、すべての違いを超越した存在。またそれは環境に合わせて、観察者の視座に合わせて変幻自在に変化する。人生という旅の中で見出された”宝物”を、幼少時から見て育った着物の紋様や色彩、織、そして茶道から学んだ「和敬清寂」の在り方を素地に、錬金術や神秘主義、シュルレアリスム・1960〜1970年代のポップカルチャー等のフィルターを通して、繊細かつ大胆に、宇宙的（コズミック）な未来のフォームへとアップデートする。これらを意図することなく、深淵なるエロス・神秘なる何か偉大な存在と繋がって、どこか懐かしくて心がほっこりする表現に昇華していく。

My theme is “The Spirit”.

For me, this is something that transcends oceans and mountain peaks, going beyond this planet, beyond all differences. Its significance shifts kaleidoscopically depending on the environment and the observer's vantage point.

The foundation of my art is what I have grown up seeing, the motifs and colours and weaves of kimonos – my parents' family business - and the “*wakeiseijyaku” spirit which I WAS INTRODUCED TO IN my tea ceremony training.

I depict the treasures I have discovered in my life’s journey, ATTEMPTING TO UPDATE my expression to a cosmic, futuristic form through the filters of alchemy, mysticism, surrealism and popular culture of the 1960-1970’s.

I empty myself of my conscious mind and connect with the profound Eros and the mystical “something great”, SEEKING TO SUBLIMATE my expression INTO a wistful and heart-warming worldview.

The four primary elements of a tea ceremony are: harmony, respect, purity, and tranquillity.
